This is a independent, private & highly-selective blog for Matsuoka Rin from Free!. My main verse takes place post-ES; however, I am willing to adapt to other timelines if I see them to be more suitable for an interaction. 

I will only interact with mutuals (meaning I follow you & you follow me). This is simply to make it easier for me to keep track of interactions. All starter calls & open roleplays are for mutuals only, & I give top priority to mutuals when it comes to memes as well, but will allow those I don’t follow back, to send them in as well; just note that I reserve the right not to answer for whatever reason.

✖┋❝ Exclusivity & Mains;;

I am exclusive to certain partners, simply meaning that I will not interact with a duplicate of their muse. On the other hand, I also have main partners for certain portrayals & they will be my go-to for major plot lines & story arcs. You can request to be either of these, just so long as we’ve interacted ic, or speak often ooc.

✖┋❝ Following/Unfollowing;;

As I’d already stated, I’m highly-selective when it comes to who I do & don’t follow. I cannot & will not follow every person who follows me, as I like to keep a clean dash. 

If I follow you & you don’t follow back within 72 hours of being active, I will unfollow you, as you clearly have no interest in becoming mutuals & I will not waste any more time following a blog who has no interest in me. That being said, if you follow me & I don’t follow back within 72 hours of being active, chances are I can’t find a way for our muses to interact, or our writing styles don’t mesh well, & you are more than welcome to either stay or unfollow - as I can’t make that decision for you.

Reasons I won’t follow you, or will unfollow you are:

• you partake in ooc drama. 
• you’ve been inactive for 3+ weeks without mention of a hiatus.
• you post far too much ooc.
• you don’t tag your nsfw.
• you don’t cut your posts.
• you post too much nsfw (tagged or untagged).
• character bashing/ship shaming.
• you’re a personal/fandom blog.
• I simply do not see a way for our muses to interact.

✖┋❝ Shipping & Smut;;

Shipping is not the priority of this blog, & it never will be. If you’re here simply for a romantic relationship, I ask that you either rethink your decision, or unfollow. Rin isn’t exactly a very ship friendly character due to his upbringing. However if it does occur, please know that I expect you to put effort into the relationship & branch out to all its aspects rather than just trying to hone in on smut.

In regards to smut, it’s presence will be rare on this blog & I will only partake in such with those who I trust ooc. All nsfw will be tagged & placed under a read more for any kiddies who might be following me.

Please remember that there are other types of relationships aside from those of the romantic type: friends, rivals, enemies, etc - & I will happily do any of those with everyone. Just come talk to me about it!

✖┋❝ Interactions & Writing;;

I’m open to interactions of all kinds, & am open to writing with Crossovers, OCs, & other canon characters (obviously). For OCs, however, I ask that you have an about page readily available for me to read - otherwise I will have no knowledge of your character & therefore cannot and will not interact with you.

My usual writing length is about 1-2 paragraphs, but I am more than happy to write novella should my partner be up for it. I will write one-liners/shorter things, but I have a terrible tendency of making things like such into para/multi-para in 1-2 replies, so. & while I believe quality is better than quantity, if I give you a five paragraph reply & you give me only a single paragraph or less in return, I will drop the thread, as I don’t see that as an effort having been made on your part.

I have my own writing style to which I’ve adapted to using, & will use it for all roleplays regardless of how my partner writes. I tend to use emphasis on a number of words, but am able to tone it down if it’s something that bothers you; all you need to do is ask.

As far as icons go, all icons were edited by myself. Do not steal them. I couldn’t care less about your icon style ( irl/game/cartoon/anime ), & care not to whether you choose to use them or not. Though chances are, if you aren’t using icons, I will adapt to go without them for our thread, as well.

✖┋❝ Misc & Mun;;

• I don’t do those “blog password” things. I know they take mere seconds, but come on - I read everyone’s rules before following, & even before going for interactions. I like to know my boundaries, & I need you to trust I’ve read them.
• I don’t believe in reblog karma & will not practice such if I don’t feel moved to send in a meme I reblogged from you. Don’t force it down my throat either, it’s a personal preference. 
• I don’t reblog asks into threads & ask that you don’t either. If you wish to continue a meme response, please make a new text post for it.

If you’ve read up to this point, know that you have my utmost appreciation for doing so. I’m aware that the above was a lot to read, but honestly it’s all there for a reason. Anywho; hello, the name’s Jay. I’m 20 years old, currently living in Arizona, & am I part-time employee working the graveyard shift - therefore I won’t always be active due to needing sleep, &/or at work/enjoying my day doing other things.
